2009 Winter Equestrian Festival

We are very fortunate for the 2009 season to have our own facility.  The 5 acre farm is a 12 minute walk to the main show grounds.  Included is a grass jumping field, sand ring, two separate 10 stall barns with tack and feed rooms and a number of turn-out paddocks. 

For the post-showing activities, we’ve created a casual area by the pool with a bar, seating and fire-pit.  Overnight accommodations are available in the 4 bedroom house with Carolyn and are on-site.  There are two queen bedrooms and a room with two twin beds. 

Horses will begin to head south at the start of December and depending on client interest will remain through the middle to end of April.  Deposit checks will be collected upon reservations. 

Rates:

Stall:                    Full Season from December through April -    $ 8,000 per stall

                            Partial Season from February through April - $5200 per stall (limited number)

Daycare:           Includes daily grooming, shavings, feed, tack-up, groom at ring

And day money for grooms -                  $110 per day

Stall Reserve:               Horses boarded at Desfor Farms          $400 per horse, per month

Lodging & Utilities: Lodging for trainers, grooms

 and utility costs -                        $500 per horse

Coaching:                                                                               $100 per day & horse  

Lessons:            1 hour                                                            $75                                   

Flatting:            Exercising horse w/o jumping -            $35 per horse                 

Schooling:        Exercising w/ jumping -                          $50 per horse                 

Showing:          Carolyn or staff showing horse             $50 per jumper class

***All Entry fees, Equipment or items paid for by Desfor Farms on behalf of client will be charged a 10% service fee.  Credit cards can be left on file with horse show office.

***All horses bought, sold or leased through Desfor Farms will be charged a 15% commission.
